Dear Friends and Supporters, Where did the month of June go? Ministry work this past month was varied and fruitful. I hope you enjoy this brief update of our recent endeavors. REACH

I have been talking with a lady who has been invited to start a women’s ministry in the Kansas Statehouse!

We have a colleague, Chaplain Dave Depue, who has ministered faithfully in the Kansas Capitol for several years. He is now expanding his reach by inviting Julie Bachman to start a work with the women there. Julie desires to replicate our Indiana ministry model, so I have been in communication with her about practical ways to do so. Please ask God to prepare the way, to give open doors, and to establish a fruitful women's ministry in Topeka. GROWTH Sullivan County Courthouse: Sullivan County Recorder Christy Knotts has been able to extend her reach by starting a women's Bible study in the county courthouse. This is an answer to prayer, and we praise the Lord for His work there! Please continue to pray for this endeavor.

Cass County Courthouse: The Lord has cracked open the door a little more for ministry to women in the Cass County Courthouse. We desire favor to establish a work there, and your prayers are appreciated.

FELLOWSHIP Our annual Capitol Ladies' Picnic at my house was great fun! We ate much and laughed more! The traditional cornhole toss game was cancelled due to the heat, but the women were more than content to talk the day away. We ended the evening praying around one of our ladies who is beginning treatment for liver cancer. Please pray for Marilyn.

A FIRST FOR ME Matt and I were invited to the 75th birthday party of one of our supporters, who is a strong

patriot! She wanted everything decorated in red, white, and blue, and it was. Matt was asked to open in prayer, and I was asked to lead the Pledge of Allegiance. We also sang the national anthem. That was a first for me at a birthday party! It was a very special day and great way to honor a sweet and special lady.
