
State Rep. Mike Hoadley was first elected in November of 2022. He is in his second term serving the 99th House District, which encompasses Arenac, Iosco and Ogemaw counties, as well as portions of Bay, Clare and Gladwin counties. He was first elected to the Au Gres City Council in 2017 and was re-elected in 2020. He served as the mayor of Au Gres from 2020 until being elected to the state House. Mike was involved in a variety of other local boards and commissions while serving his community, including the City Planning Commission and Tax Increment Finance Authority Board. He also chaired the Arenac County Planning Commission and served on the Arenac County Soldiers and Sailors Board. Mike is a U.S. Army veteran, having served from 1990-94.
