Lucien Daigle was born in Fort Kent, Maine. He earned a high school diploma from Fort Kent Community High School, a bachelor's degree from the University of Maine, Orono in 1976, and an M.D. from Tufts University in 1980. His career experience includes working as a dentist. Daigle has been affiliated with the National Ski Patrol.
