Representative Jeff Vernetti, a Republican, represents Camden County (District 123) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to his first term in November of 2024. Born in St. Louis, Vernetti graduated from Lafayette High School in 1995. Then in 1999 he graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with a B.S. in Mass Communications. A local business owner and real estate developer, Vernetti has spearheaded numerous projects in the Lake of the Ozarks area. He co-founded and co-owns Ballparks National, a nationally recognized youth baseball and softball complex. Vernetti also co-owns LOZ Sports Training, the region’s premier youth sports facility, and Vernetti’s Italian Grocer, a specialty market offering St. Louis-style Italian fare. Before relocating to the Lake area, Vernetti worked in St. Louis as a sports broadcaster and business owner, gaining experience in sales, marketing, and operations management. With a career spanning sales leadership roles across multiple industries, Vernetti brings extensive expertise in budget management, personnel oversight, and community development to his role in public service. He is involved in a number of local organizations and is currently a member of the Camdenton Rotary Club, the Osage Beach Elks Club, and Calvary Chapel Lake of the Ozarks. Previously, he sat on the board of directors for Central Ozarks Medical Center (COMC), the Lake West Chamber of Commerce, and the Lake of the Ozarks Regional Economic Development Council.
