
Shawn Ellen LaGrua is a judge of the Georgia Supreme Court. She assumed office on January 19, 2021. Her current term ends on January 1, 2029. LaGrua ran for re-election for judge of the Georgia Supreme Court. She won in the general election on May 24, 2022. LaGrua became a member of the state supreme court by appointment. She was appointed by Republican Gov. Brian Kemp on December 1, 2020, to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Justice Keith Blackwell. She was sworn in on January 7, 2021, for a term beginning January 19, 2021.
