Born in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, Stuart Michael Schmidt, Jr. graduated from Glen Burnie High School. He earned a B.S. in Business Administration/Marketing from Salisbury University, Franklin P. Perdue School of Business in 2002, and an MBA in Entrepreneurship from the University of Baltimore in 2014. Professionally, he has worked as a Supply Chain Coordinator and Production Planner at Perdue Farms Inc., a retail sales account manager, and a logistics coordinator at Mountaire Farms. He was a real estate professional at Martin and Moore Realty and has been a real estate professional, realtor, and property manager at Keller Williams Flagship of Maryland since 2010. Schmidt has also served as a high school varsity baseball assistant coach and varsity golf coach. He was elected to the Maryland House of Delegates in November 2022 and has served since January 11, 2023.
