Hillary Cassel is a member of the Florida House of Representatives, representing District 101. She assumed office on November 8, 2022. Her current term ends on November 3, 2026. On December 27, 2024, Cassel announced she was changing her party affiliation from Democratic to Republican. In a press release about the change she stated, "I'm constantly troubled by the inability of the current Democratic Party to relate to everyday Floridians."
