Kyra Harris Bolden is a judge of the Michigan Supreme Court. She assumed office on January 1, 2023. Her current term ends on January 1, 2033. Bolden ran in a special election for judge of the Michigan Supreme Court. Bolden won in the special general election on November 5, 2024. She advanced from the special Democratic convention on August 24, 2024. Gov. Gretchen Whitmer appointed Harris Bolden to the state supreme court on November 22, 2022, to fill the vacancy left by Justice Bridget Mary McCormack.
