Danny Earl Britt was born in Robeson County, North Carolina, and lives in Lumberton. Britt served in the North Carolina Army National Guard and reached the rank of Lieutenant Colonel as of 2022. Britt earned a bachelor's degree from Appalachian State University and a J.D. from the Oklahoma City University School of Law in 2003. His career experience includes working as an attorney in private practice and as the superior court assistant district attorney in the Robeson County district attorney's office.
