Chris Cournoyer is the Lieutenant Governor of Iowa. She assumed office on December 16, 2024. Her current term ends on January 12, 2027. Governor of Iowa Kim Reynolds appointed Cournoyer as Lieutenant Governor of Iowa on December 16, 2024, to replace Adam Gregg. Following this appointment, Cournoyer resigned from her position in the Iowa Senate, representing District 35.
