Rachelle Smit was elected to represent the residents of Michigan’s 43rd House District in November 2022. Rachelle served as the Martin Township Clerk for seven years. She and her husband are also partners in their family dairy farm. Rachelle was born and raised in West Michigan and currently lives in Shelbyville.
