Reynolds graduated from Athens State University with a B.S. in criminal justice and subsequently graduated from Auburn University at Montgomery with an M.S. in public safety administration. In his career, Reynolds served as director of public safety at the Huntsville Department of Public Safety and later as city administrator for the City of Huntsville until 2013. The same year, he became the owner of Reynolds Consulting Services, LLC, and later served as president and COO of Sharp Communication.
