Michelee "Shelly" Crawford lives in Nevada. She served in the Air Force National Guard. Crawford earned an associate degree in psychology from the College of Southern Nevada High School in 2000, a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in curriculum and instruction from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, in 2004 and 2010, respectively. Crawford also obtained a bachelor's degree in teaching English as a second language from Sierra Nevada College. Her career experience includes working as a school principal and a teacher. Crawford's volunteer experience includes serving on the Nevada Department of Education’s Principal Advisory Committee; the Nevada National Guard’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion task force; the Nevada Association of School Administrators as board secretary; and the Nevada Association of Latino Administrators.
