Shevrin Jones was born in Miami Gardens, Florida, and lives in West Park, Florida. Jones earned a B.S. in biochemistry/molecular biology from Florida A&M University in 2006 and a master's degree in educational leadership from Florida Atlantic University in 2017. Jones' career experience includes working as an AP Chemistry teacher with Broward County Public Schools and the executive director of South Florida Reading Corps.
