Representative Mark Meirath, a Republican, represents part of Clay County (District 39), including the cities of Excelsior Springs and Kearney, in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to his first term in November 2024. Rep. Meirath has extensive experience in the business world, owning a successful construction company. Prior to that, he spent 12 years as a branch manager in Independence and 15 years working in lending for banks in Kansas City and Excelsior Springs.
