

Helene Duhamel is a member of the South Dakota State Senate, representing District 32. She assumed office on December 3, 2019. Her current term ends on January 12, 2027. Duhamel is running for re-election to the South Dakota State Senate to represent District 32. She declared candidacy for the Republican primary scheduled on June 2, 2026. She was appointed to the seat by Governor Kristi Noem in 2019, following the resignation of Alan Solano.
