
McCullough received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and his J.D. from the T.C. Williams School of Law. McCullough joined the Virginia Supreme Court in 2016 for a 12-year term ending on March 2, 2028. Prior to his supreme court appointment, McCullough was a judge on the Virginia Court of Appeals. He was elected to that court by the Virginia General Assembly in July 2011 and served until March 2016. Before joining the Court of Appeals, McCullough was senior appellate counsel to the Virginia Attorney General.
