

Nathaniel Moran is a member of the U.S. House, representing Texas' 1st Congressional District. He assumed office on January 3, 2023. His current term ends on January 3, 2027. Moran is running for re-election to the U.S. House to represent Texas' 1st Congressional District. He is on the ballot in the general election on November 3, 2026. He advanced from the Republican primary on March 3, 2026. Moran served on the Smith County Commissioners Court from 2016 to 2022. He was appointed to the court effective July 22, 2016, to fill the seat left by the suspension of Joel P. Baker.
