
Kathy Szeliga was first elected to the Maryland House of Delegates in 2010 and has been a member since 2011. She has served in various leadership and committee roles, including Minority Whip from 2013 to 2021, and has held positions on the Health and Government Operations Committee, the Environment and Transportation Committee, and the Appropriations Committee. In addition to her legislative service, she has served on the Commission on Aging. Her professional background includes work as a small business owner in construction contracting, experience as a teacher, and service as a chief of staff to Senator Andrew P. Harris.
