Representative Alex Riley, a Republican, represents Greene County (District 134) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He serves as the House Majority Leader and is responsible for moving priority bills through the legislative process. He was elected to his first two-year term in November 2020. In addition to his legislative duties, Riley is an attorney with the Healy Law Offices, LLC. He is a member of the Missouri Bar Association, the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers, the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association, and the Network – The Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce’s Young Professionals Organization. Riley was homeschooled from kindergarten through high school. He earned a B.A. in political science from Thomas Edison State University at 19 years old and a Juris Doctorate from Southern Illinois University summa cum laude. Born and raised in Springfield, Riley resides there with his wife and their four young children. The family attends Connect Church in Springfield.
