Kym Taylor was born in Washington, D.C. She attended the Duke Ellington School of the Arts. She earned a B.B.A. in Information Processing from The George Washington University and an M.B.A. in Information Systems and Finance from The Atlanta University. Kym Taylor served as a National Account Manager at the Bell Atlantic Corporation from 1988 to 1998. Since 1996, she has served as the Owner/Vice President of Marketing and Strategic Solutions at S&K Holdings Inc. She also worked as a Legislative Aide for Constituent Services for Senator Paul Pinsky at the Maryland General Assembly from 2012 to 2016. She was elected to the Maryland House of Delegates in November 2022 and has served as a member since January 11, 2023.
