Andrew Kim is a member of the U.S. Senate from New Jersey. He assumed office on December 9, 2024. His current term ends on January 3, 2031. Senate to represent New Jersey. House to represent New Jersey's 3rd Congressional District. He did not appear on the ballot for the Democratic primary on June 4, 2024. On December 8, 2024, Governor of New Jersey Phil Murphy appointed Kim to the U.S. Senate to fill out the remainder of George Helmy's term. Kim resigned from the U.S. House on December 8, 2024 to accept the appointment.
