Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Jheanelle K. Wilkins graduated from William Penn High School in New Castle, Delaware. She earned a B.A. in sociology from the University of Delaware and an M.P.A. in social policy from American University in 2011. Since 2014, she has served as a Senior Field Manager for The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, having previously worked as a Field Manager for the same organization from 2011 to 2014. She is a 2015 Fellow of the New Leaders Council.
