William J. Wivell was appointed to the House of Delegates on March 13, 2015, and was sworn in on March 16, 2015. He was first elected to the Maryland House of Delegates in November 2018 and has served as a member since January 9, 2019. His professional career includes serving as a Business Manager at St. James School and as a member of the Board of County Commissioners for Washington County from 1998 to 2010 and 2014 to 2015. He has held numerous public service roles, including positions with the Tri-County Council for Western Maryland, the Social Services Board of Washington County, and the Hagerstown-Washington County Economic Development Commission.
