Gary Byrne is a member of the Indiana State Senate, representing District 47. He assumed office on February 14, 2022. His current term ends on November 4, 2026. Byrne was selected to join the state Senate in a Republican caucus. He filled the vacancy created by Erin Houchin's resignation.
