Matthew Lehman is a member of the Indiana House of Representatives, representing District 79. He assumed office in 2008. His current term ends on November 4, 2026. Lehman is running for re-election to the Indiana House of Representatives to represent District 79. He is on the ballot in the Republican primary on May 5, 2026. On October 6, 2015, Lehman was selected to become the new House majority leader. The position was vacated by former Rep. Jud McMillin. Lehman assumed the role in the new legislative session in January 2016.
