John Harabedian was born in Sierra Madre, California. He earned a high school diploma from Loyola High School, a bachelor's degree from Yale University, a graduate degree from Oxford University, and a law degree from Stanford University. His career experience includes being a partner at Ellis George LLP, a prosecutor for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, an associate at Latham & Watkins, and a law clerk for the United States District Court. He previously served as the mayor of Sierra Madre and as a city councilmember for Sierra Madre.
