Randy Burckhard is a member of the North Dakota State Senate, representing District 5. He assumed office in 2010. His current term ends on December 1, 2026. Burckhard served on the Minot City Council and previously chaired the Minot Area Chamber of Commerce. On February 3, 2026, Burckhard announced he would not run for re-election to the North Dakota State Senate District 5 in 2026.
