Alex Askew was born in Virginia Beach, Virginia. He graduated from Tallwood High School. Askew earned a bachelor's degree from Hampton University. His career experience includes working on local, statewide, and national campaigns and projects, including as chief of staff for the Virginia House of Delegates.
