Lucetta Elmer is an Oregon native who grew up on a small farm in Yamhill County between Willamina and Sheridan. After high school, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from Linfield University. She started her own school, combining her passions for business and education. Elmer has held seats on numerous civic committees, including the McMinnville Chamber of Commerce and the McMinnville Downtown Association. During her first two legislative sessions, she championed workforce housing, certificate of need exemptions, and advocated for the removal of business regulations.
