
Born in Dubuque, Iowa, Dawn Gile is a graduate of Stillman Valley High School and holds a B.A. in Psychology and French from Rockford University, graduating magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa in 2002. She received her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2006. Her career includes roles as a law clerk for the U.S. Justice Department, an associate with Hickey Melia & Associates, and a partner at the MacDonald Law Group. She has also served as Of Counsel for the SRD Legal Group. Her public service history includes leadership roles in military family support networks and the Military Spouse JD Network, alongside service on the Rockford University Board of Trustees. She has received numerous awards, including the Maryland Civilian Service Medal and the Public Service Commendation Medal from the U.S. Army.
