
State Representative Gary Click is currently serving his third term in the Ohio House of Representatives. He represents the 88th House District, which encompasses all of Sandusky and Seneca Counties. In 2006, Click accepted the position of pastor to the Fremont Baptist Temple and served through 2025. He recently stepped down and assumed the honorary title of pastor Emeritus. In over thirty years of ministry, Pastor Click has served in many aspects including youth ministry, bus ministry, writing, radio, Christian education, and lobbying Congress on behalf of churches and Christian schools. He has also served as a chaplain for law enforcement and in hospice care. Representative Click is a strong conservative who is able to reach across the aisle and find common ground when appropriate. As a former law enforcement chaplain, he is a strong advocate for the men and women in law enforcement. He is a proponent of strong schools both public and private. He believes that every student should succeed everywhere. Representative Click is also a strong advocate for substance abuse recovery having witnessed family members struggle with substance abuse disorders. His time spent as a hospice chaplain reveals his compassionate nature for those who find themselves in need of support and care.
