Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Eric Ebersole graduated from Catonsville High School in 1976. He earned a B.S. in Math Education in 1980 and an M.S. in Math Education in 1986, both from the University of Maryland, College Park. He served as a teacher, advisor, and mentor at Wilde Lake High School from 1980 to 2002, a teacher and math department chair at Reservoir High School from 2002 to 2006, an adjunct instructor of mathematics education at the University of Maryland Baltimore County from 2004 to 2008, and a department chair and teacher at Marriotts Ridge High School from 2006 to 2012. He returned to Reservoir High School as a mentor, curriculum writer, and professional development specialist from 2012 to 2015. He was first elected to the Maryland House of Delegates in 2014 and has served as a member since 2015.
