Wayne A. Hartman was born in Baltimore, Maryland, on December 14, 1967. He graduated from Eastern Vocational Technical High School in 1985 and earned a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix in 2006. He served as a Councilman for the Town of Ocean City from 2014 to 2018, where he chaired the Recreation and Parks Committee and served on the ADA Committee, Police Commission, and the Property Review Enforcement for Safe Housing committee. Since 2008, he has been the owner of Wayne Hartman Management, LLC. First elected to the Maryland House of Delegates in 2018, he has served as a member since January 9, 2019. His public service includes membership on the Worcester County Local (Video Lottery) Development Council and the Tri-County Council for the Lower Eastern Shore of Maryland. He is also a member of the Atlantic General Hospital Foundation, and previously served on the Ocean City Development Corporation Board of Directors and the Worcester County Planning Commission.
