Consuelo Hernandez graduated from Sunnyside High School. Hernandez earned a bachelor's degree in global health from Arizona State University. Her career experience includes working as the district manager of major accounts with ADP, an immigration caseworker with the International Rescue Committee, and a campaign organizer with MoveOn.org. Hernandez has served as the president of the Sunnyside Union School District School Board.
