Becca Balint is a member of the U.S. House, representing Vermont's At-Large Congressional District. She assumed office on January 3, 2023. Her current term ends on January 3, 2027. She was sworn in as state Senate president pro tempore on January 6, 2021, and was the first female openly gay person and the first woman to fill the position.
