
Born in Anniston, Alabama, Vaughn Stewart attended The Donoho School and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Political Science and Sociology in 2011. He completed a J.D. at the New York University School of Law in 2014. Stewart served as an intern at the White House Domestic Policy Council in 2013 and later worked as a law clerk for the Honorable John T. Nixon in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee from 2014 to 2015. He was the Policy Director for Jamie Raskin for Congress in 2015 and served as an associate at WilmerHale from 2015 to 2018. More recently, he worked as an elder and consumer law attorney at Pare & Associates, LLC, and as an associate at Santoni, Vocci & Ortega. He was first elected to the Maryland House of Delegates in 2018 and has served as a member since January 9, 2019.
