Born in Detroit, Michigan on April 21, 1988, Jennifer White Holland attended Novi High School, graduating in 2006. She went on to earn a B.A. with honors in Political Theory & Constitutional Democracy, and Social Relations and Policy from Michigan State University in 2010, followed by an MSPH from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in 2012. Her professional experience includes roles as a Needs Assessment Coordinator with the Maryland Center for Developmental Disabilities (2011), a Research Intern for the Bureau of Maternal, Child Health at the Michigan Department of Community Health (2011-2012), and various positions with the NAACP from 2012 to 2014. She served as a Health Equity Partnerships Manager for the American Heart Association in Washington, D.C. (2014-2018), and as a Community Advocacy Director for the American Heart Association in Baltimore (2018-2019). Since 2019, she has served as the Senior Policy and Community Engagement Officer at the Horizon Foundation. She was elected to the Maryland House of Delegates in November 2022 and has been a member since January 11, 2023.
