Peri Pourier is a member of the South Dakota House of Representatives, representing District 27. She assumed office in 2019. Her current term ends on January 12, 2027. Pourier is running for election to the South Dakota Public Utilities Commission. She declared candidacy for the Republican convention scheduled on June 27, 2026. In September 2025, Pourier announced that she was leaving the Democratic Party and would register as a Republican.
