Representative Bell was born in Chicago, Illinois and is of the United Methodist faith. He is a member of the Omega Psi Phi, Board of Trustees Leadership Greater Jackson, Anderson United Methodist Church, Sunrise Rotary Club, Jackson Chamber of Commerce, and Anderson Outreach CDC Board.
