Angelique Ashby was born in Ashland, Oregon, and lives in Sacramento, California. Ashby graduated from Sacramento High School in 1993. She earned a bachelor's degree in sociology from the University of California, Davis, in 1999, and a J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, in 2003. Her career experience includes working as a managing partner at Ashby Consulting Group, LLC.
