Jeff Helfrich has been a public servant for all his adult life, over 30 years. He previously served as state representative of District 52 from 2017 to 2019 and as a Cascade Locks City Councilor. He served as an airman in the United States Air Force during Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm and as a sergeant with the Portland Police Bureau for 25 years.
