Ed McBroom is a member of the Michigan State Senate, representing District 38. He assumed office on January 1, 2019. His current term ends on January 1, 2027. McBroom is a former Republican member of the Michigan House of Representatives, representing District 108 from 2011 to 2017. He did not seek re-election to the Michigan House of Representatives in 2016 due to term limits.
