Laura Fine is a member of the Illinois State Senate, representing District 9. She assumed office on January 9, 2019. Her current term ends on January 13, 2027. Fine ran for election to the U.S. House to represent Illinois' 9th Congressional District. She lost in the Democratic primary on March 17, 2026.
