Howie Morales is the Lieutenant Governor of New Mexico. He assumed office on January 1, 2019. His current term ends on January 1, 2027. As lieutenant governor, Morales serves as the president of the New Mexico State Senate. Morales is a former Democratic member of the New Mexico State Senate, representing District 28 from 2009 to 2019.
