Stan Clouse was elected to the Nebraska Legislature in 2024. He previously served as the mayor of Kearney from 2006 to 2024 and as a member of the Kearney City Council from 2003 to 2024. Throughout his career, he has served on numerous boards and commissions, including the Greater Nebraska Chief Elected Officials Board, the Nebraska Natural Resources Commission, and the Governor’s Task Force on Human Trafficking. He is a member of several community organizations and has received various awards, including the Cope Cornerstone of Excellence Award and the Rotary Paul Harris Fellow.
