Born in Caldwell, Idaho, Janie Ward-Engelking attended Whittier College, earned a B.S. from Idaho State University, and a master’s degree from Boise State University. She was a classroom teacher for 33 years and is an active community member, trainer, and facilitator for the College of Western Idaho.
