Born in Batavia, New York, November 11, 1978. Andrew C. Pruski earned a B.A. in History from Niagara University in 2000 and an M.S. in Secondary Education in 2001. He worked as a Social Studies Teacher at Frederick Douglas High School in Prince George's County from 2001 to 2005. From 2005 to 2014, he was a Supervisor of Assessment for the Department of Research, Accountability, and Assessment in Baltimore County Public Schools. He has served as a Supervisor of Internal Assessment for the Department of Testing in Prince George's County Public Schools since 2014. His public service includes membership on the Anne Arundel County Board of Appeals (2006-2009) and the Anne Arundel County Board of Education (2009-2014), where he served as President from 2012 to 2013. He served on the Anne Arundel County Board of Health from 2014 to 2022 and as Vice-Chair of the Anne Arundel County Council from 2021 to 2022. He was elected to the Maryland House of Delegates in November 2022 and has served since January 11, 2023.
