Born in Montgomery County, Maryland, September 21, 1981. He graduated from Richard Montgomery High School in Rockville, MD in 1999, followed by a B.A. in History from the University of Southern California in 2002. He earned an M.A. in Government from The Johns Hopkins University in 2007 and a J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law in 2010. He has been an associate at Sidley & Austin in Washington, D.C. since 2010. First elected to the House of Delegates in 2014, he has been a member since 2015.
