Anne Watson was born in Burlington, Vermont. Watson earned a bachelor’s degree in physics from Pennsylvania State University and a master's degree in secondary education from the University of Vermont. Her career experience includes working as a science and math teacher. She was appointed to the Montpelier City Council in 2012 to represent District 2.
